On February 2, 2016, Chief Judge Laurie Smith Camp announced that the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska will expand its search process to seek two magistrate judges to succeed Magistrate Judge Thomas D. Thalken, who will retire on December 31, 2016, and Magistrate Judge F.A. Gossett, III, who will retire on June 30, 2017. Applications are due on or before March 14, 2016.
