How to Use the Jury Instructions Bank
The Jury Instructions Bank provides access to final jury instructions submitted by judges of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska. Use the search filters below to locate instructions relevant to your case.
Search Filters
- Case Type — Filter by Criminal or Civil cases, or leave set to Any to search across both.
- Judge — Select one or more judges from the dropdown. Each judge you select is added to a list below the dropdown. To remove a judge from your selection, check the box next to their name.
- Category — Browse instructions by topic using the cascading category dropdowns. Selecting a top-level category reveals subcategories. Each category you select is added to a list below the dropdown. To remove a category, check the box next to it.
- Match — When multiple categories are selected, choose whether results must match all selected categories (AND) or any of them (OR).
- Date Submitted — Optionally narrow results to a date range using the From and To date fields.
