Jury Instructions Bank

Monday, March 16, 2015

The United States District Court for the District of Nebraska is pleased to announce the launch of a jury instructions bank, a new online tool developed by the court to provide attorneys with access to historical jury instructions used in trials in this district. The bank allows individuals to search instructions from October 2002 by judge, case type, subject matter, and/or date. The instructions are available in word processing and PDF formats. While the court will periodically update the bank with instructions from recent trials, users should keep in mind that the instructions are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a correct or current statement of the law. Users are still responsible for conducting their own research for drafting and proposing jury instructions or other legal documents. The bank can be accessed on the court's website at http://www.ned.uscourts.gov/attorney/jury-instructions-bank.
