Omaha Steel Castings Company is now accepting applications for heavy production workers. Position may include grinding steel castings, making molds from greensand, pouring hot metal or shaking green sand from hot castings. Selected candidate will train in our Omaha location and eventually transfer to the new plant location in Wahoo.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to do HEAVY lifting/pushing, stand for 8-10 hours, tolerate extreme temperatures and work in an industrial environment.
Able pass drug and alcohol pre-employment test.
Have reliable transportation.
Verifiable good work history, preferably in a heavy labor environment.

HOURS
Openings are for 3rd shift (10:30pm - 7:00am). Monday through Friday.

PAY
Starting pay is $9.00, plus $0.35 shift premium after 3:30pm and before 7:00am. Candidate will go through a 60-working day probationary period and will have an opportunity to get up $1.00 increase during probation. Will also have an opportunity to get frequent increases within the first year. Employee will get classify in a year and will be making at at least $14.18 or more, depending on the job classification at that time.
