Full-Time Grounds Person - Assist with grounds maintenance duties to include but not limited to mowing, trimming, litter pickup, weeding, watering, and snow removal. Perform landscaping duties including planting, installing and repairing retaining walls and edging. Inspect and maintain tools, equipment and sprinkler system. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma plus one year full-time experience performing grounds maintenance required. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered. EPA certification preferred. A valid driver’s license & insurability to operate College vehicles is required. Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and lift 75 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Hours are Monday-Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. during growing seasons and 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. during the winter months. This position is designated essential and may be called in for emergencies. Hiring process includes a background check.
Part-Time Enrollment Services Assistant - Responsible for working with the Enrollment Services Department to ensure timely and accurate information is disseminated to potential students. Performs outbound calls in a professional manner, assists with the day to day activities in Sage ACT; and providing excellent customer services to all students. Represent MCC during tours/events as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years’ experience in customer services and/or administrative work required. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered. Strong communication and data entry skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Hiring process includes a background check.
Part-Time Auto Collision Lab Assistant - Assist faculty and lab assistant with classroom/lab setups. When needed, contact suppliers and order classroom supplies and materials per instructor requests. Cleans equipment and shop area and maintains a safe environment. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED plus one year related work experience required. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered. Valid driver’s license and insurability to drive college vehicles required. Knowledge of Automotive Collision Repair sufficient to perform essential functions of position. Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail. Hiring process includes a background check. Hours are part time temporary, 15-20 evening hours per week.
