Bellevue Human Services - Food Pantry

204 West Mission Avenue - (402) 293-3138: Bellevue residents in need of the food assistance can call to make an appointment to receive a food pantry referral. Once a referral is obtained, the food bags can be picked up from the local distribution site from 10:00am – 4:00pm; Monday – Friday. The pantry can provide non perishable food items and vouchers for perishable food items to be used at the grocery store as much as the donations/guidelines can allow. www.bellevue.net/Departments/HumanServices.aspx

Care and Share House-Food Pantry

1808 5^th Avenue and 600 South Main Street, Council Bluffs - 712-323-4889: Food pantry available to anyone who has not received help from a Council Bluffs food pantry in the last 30 days. The 5^th Avenue location is open Monday 9:30AM-12:00PM and Thursday 9:00AM-12:00PM. The Main Street location is open Monday and Wednesday 5:30PM-7:30PM. Catholic Charities - Juan Diego Center

5211 S. 31^st Street - 731-5413: Emergency food pantry, perishable daily food distribution, and share food buying. Requires a social security card for each household member, photo ID, and mail postmarked within the last 30 days in your name (PO Boxes not accepted). Individuals may receive food once every 60 days. FaithWorks Pantry Place

4829 Oaks Lane - (402) 895-3394: Food pantry for low income families and those in need. Available with photo id and proof of address once every 30 days. The pantry is open every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 5PM - 7PM and every 4th Saturday of the month from 10AM - 1PM. www.faithwestwood.com

Food Bank for the Heartland (Omaha Food Bank)

10525 J Street - 331-1213: Provides food resources to a network of nonprofit agencies which then distribute the food to individuals and families in need. With the exception of a few programs, Food Bank for the Heartland does not distribute food directly to the public. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) provides healthy meals to children age 18 and younger during the summer months. SFSP operates in Nebraska, Council Bluffs, and Carter Lake. Fresh produce stands are also available during the summer. Food distribution sites are listed on the Food Bank for the Heartland website. www.omahafoodbank.org

Heart Ministry Center

2222 Binney Street - 451-2321: Food pantry available Wednesday and Friday from 10:00AM-12:00PM. Photo ID, social security cards for each household member, and a recent piece of mail required for USDA commodities. Non-USDA commodities available for those without proper documentation. Heartland Family Service-Tri-City Ministerial Association Pantry

Heartland Hope Mission (formerly Mission for All Nations)

5210 South 21^st Street - 733-2077: Provides a 7 day supply of food, including food appropriate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, personal hygiene items, clothing, household items, and toys to low-income families. Families may choose their own canned and boxed goods. Frozen meat, produce, and dairy items are packed by volunteers. Families may visit the pantry once every 30 days. Senior citizens (age 60 and older) and individuals with disabilities (proof required) may visit every 21 days. The pantry is open Thursday and Saturday from 1:30PM-4:00PM and Tuesday from 6:30PM-7:30PM. 3612 Cuming Street - (402) 898-5860: The Material Assistance & Seasonal Services (MASS) program provides emergency assistance with food, clothing, rent, household items, and prescription drugs.
