Beginning September 15, 2008, the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska will participate in a two-month pilot project to make its court calendar available to the public over the Internet through the Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) system.

The calendar events report is located on the reports page in the Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) system.  PACER users will not incur any fees when running the report unless they access a specific docket sheet from a case displayed in the report.  The public may also access the report at the public terminals in the Omaha and Lincoln clerk's offices.  Note: Sealed hearings will not appear on the calendar.

Follow these steps to run the report:

1) Log in to the court's CM/ECF system at http://ecf.ned.uscourts.gov/.
2) Click Reports.
3) Click Calendar Events.
4) Set the date range.
5) Click Run Report.

The court will evaluate the results at the end of the two-month pilot to determine if the CM/ECF calendar will continue to serve as the court's public calendar.  The court will make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information in the report, but certain circumstances may prevent the timely entry of information into CM/ECF.  A court hearing may still be scheduled even though a search returns no results.  For the most accurate information about court hearings, the public may contact the clerk's office at 866-220-4381 (Omaha) or 866-220-4379 (Lincoln).

Please contact the clerk's office at one of the numbers listed above if you have any questions.

Thank you,
United States District Court Clerk's Office
