On behalf of the entire court family, we are once again offering training in courtroom technology to all of the attorneys practicing in Federal Court in the District of Nebraska.  You will come away from this half day seminar with solid introductory skills in PowerPoint and an awareness of the power of Litigation Support Programs in the courtroom.

Montie Ruffner, Litigation Support Specialist, U.S. Attorney's office and Theresa Hiner, Computer Systems Administrator, Federal Public Defender's office and the Honorable Laurie Smith-Camp, U.S. District Judge in cooperation with the courts are presenting this half day session, limited to 40 participants.  Registration will close on February 27.  Light Refreshments will be available and best of all, it's free!

Pre-Requisites:
Participants must bring a laptop with PowerPoint 2007 loaded.  If you don't have the current version of PowerPoint you can download, and install a 60 day trial version at

4:00pm - 5:00pm General hands-on demonstrations of Technology available in the Courtroom with Judge Smith-Camp available for a view from the bench.

With our assistance, select participants from the previous session will connect their laptops into the attorney tables and present their previously created PowerPoint Presentations for self evaluation and group review.
