Biennial (2013/2014) Assessment Form
Pursuant to NEGenR 1.7(h), the court requires that all attorneys enrolled in the bar of this court pay a biennial assessment; this rule does not apply to attorneys who appeared before the court pro hac vice or are employed by the federal government or a state, county, city, or local government. The proceeds of this assessment are used to defray the cost of maintaining the roll of attorneys admitted to practice before this court, to reimburse appointed counsel for reasonable expenses incurred in representing indigent litigants, and to fund the Federal Practice Fund.
This year, you may update your information and pay the fee online. Instructions are available on the court's Web site at:
http://www.ned.uscourts.gov/internetDocs/cmecf/Biennial_Assessment_Fee.pdf. Please complete the renewal process by March 1, 2013. Law firms with more than one attorney admitted to this court will need to complete the online process for each attorney.
If you have any questions, please contact the clerk's office at 1-866-220-4381 (Omaha) or 1-866-220-4379 (Lincoln).
