Drs. John Wunder and Mark Scherer, professors of history at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and University of Nebraska-Omaha, respectively, are currently working on a book-length narrative history of the Federal District Court of Nebraska. The project aims to deliver a descriptive overview of the Court's operations, its judges and staff, and some of it's most significant trials and decisions from the time of its creation in 1868 through the mid to late 20th century. They are hopeful that the manuscript can be completed by late 2010 or early 2011.
