Majors Plastics - Machine Operator - 2nd or 3rd shift ONLY.  Experience helpful, not required, company will train. Must have completed Junior year in High School. HS Diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to read, write, and understand English; possess basic math skills such as counting and adding; ability to follow instructions; and to be able to work well with others. Must be able to distinguish colors and look for cosmetic defects; be able to stand on feet for up to 3 hours at a time; able to handle very small parts with one hand while trimming, cutting and/or removing gates with the other hand. Must be able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs. Read process sheets to determine what processes and procedures are needed; have all required supplies/tools to perform necessary job duties. Report to assigned machine 5 minutes prior to start of your shift to review work load with previous shift machine operator. Complete necessary paperwork, observe machine in operation, may remove product from machine with hands if necessary, keeping machine operating. Visually inspect product for defects. Package products into boxes that meet quality expectations. Report any problems with machine or product to shift supervisor, set-up technicians, and/or inprocess inspectors. Keep work area and machine clean form plastic debris.
